Editorial standards

Insights is published by Revere Group, an independent software studio in Norway. These are the standards every article is held to. If we fall short of them, tell us at [email protected].

Sourcing

Every factual claim is cited to a source readers can open and check. We cite primary sources where they exist: official statistics, public registers, regulators, legal texts, original datasets, peer-reviewed research and vendors' own documentation. When a figure appears in a secondary source, we trace it back to where it came from. We do not cite statistics roundups that give no original source.

Verification

We never invent rankings, statistics, benchmarks, company figures, client names, certifications or quotes. Every article is fact-checked by someone other than its author. Company figures come from Brønnøysundregistrene or filed accounts, with the year stated. Where we cannot verify something, we say so rather than estimate.

Facts, analysis and method

We keep reporting and interpretation visibly apart. Opinion is written as ours, and every ranking, score or recommendation links to the method behind it.

Conflicts of interest

Revere Group works in the markets Insights covers. Articles where that matters carry a disclosure. Revere Group does not appear in its own rankings in the publication's first year. After that, it is included only if it qualifies under the same published method as everyone else, with its score set by an independent reviewer and the inclusion disclosed. It is never set against a named competitor in a comparison. No organisation can pay for inclusion, placement, removal or review.

Use of AI tools

AI tools may help with research, outlining, transcription and copy-editing. They are never a source: no fact, figure, quote or citation is published because an AI system produced it. Every article has a named human author who is accountable for it, and a named human fact-checker.

Corrections and updates

When we get something wrong, we fix it and add a dated note saying what changed. We do not correct silently. Rankings are reviewed every six months, statistics pages every quarter and reports every year, and each shows when it was last checked.

Quotes and right of reply

We publish quotes only when they were given on the record. When an article makes a critical factual statement about a named organisation, we give that organisation a chance to respond before publication.
